On the Loss of Guillaume Faye

Faye Remembered

We fight for a vision of the world that is both traditional and Faustian, that allies enrootment and disinstallation, the citizen’s freedom and imperial service to the community-as-a-people, passionate creativity and critical reason, an unshakeable loyalty and an adventurous curiosity.”

–  Guillaume Faye, Why We Fight

It is certainly a time for those who love Europe and European people globally to mourn the loss of one of our greatest contemporary ideological, pragmatic, and strategic minds, Guillaume Faye.

Faye died of natural causes on March 7th, 2019.

A self-described “French political scientist, writer and journalist” Faye’s early work helped shape the French “Nouvelle Droite” and GRECE’s ideology, before his departing their ranks over a different prediction for the future which demanded an alternative message, mindset, and tactics to meet it.

While Faye had some ideas I would not then or now endorse, decades after his break with GRECE it is clear his vision of the future Europe would face and the dangers that Europeans should have been preparing to meet were correct to the point of almost being Prophetic.

He saw the writing on the wall before most and was not afraid to share what he saw.

Concepts like “Archeofuturism” and the “Convergence of Catastrophes” deeply influenced both the later days of the American Front and New Resistance and our New Resistance Manifesto. Only his public arguments with some of our French comrades prevented us from ever reaching out to him.

For me it’s a shame because I would have liked to see where those conversations would have led, since we shared a great deal politically, spiritually, and socially.

But what is done is done.

With him gone I send this message into the void…

Guillaume Faye as an author and as someone who inspired real world activism to flourish in Europe’s name you leave us a difficult space to fill.

That’s a challenge for us, and others, to meet and overcome.

Now you join the list of those we should remember respectfully for your ideas, your actions, and for your Sacrifices for our Cause.

I am quite certain you have a place of honor with the Gods, should you not choose to rejoin us in an auspicious rebirth, if either or both of these things exist.

Be proud of your Work and your accomplishments, you will not be forgotten.
